App-Level AAA YAML Permissions and ListingID Support
3min
Date: June 19, 2024
We are excited to announce new features and enhancements to streamline the management of roles, resources, and permissions for apps and solutions.
App developers can now create App-level AAA YAML permissions files to define roles, resources, and permissions specific to their applications.
Key highlights:
- Developers can define different roles and their associated resources and permissions in the App-level AAA YAML file.
- The YAML file allows for a clear and structured representation of roles, resources, and permissions.
- Developers can easily manage and update the permissions file as the application evolves.
We have introduced support for human-readable listingIDs in both App and Solution manifests. This enhancement simplifies the process of referencing applications and solutions within the manifest files.
Key highlights:
- Developers can now use listingIDs instead of GUIDs to identify applications and solutions in the manifest files.
- ListingIDs provide a more user-friendly and readable format compared to GUIDs.
- This change applies to the app and solution IDs at the start of the manifest files.
Developers can find more detailed information, guides, and examples in the following documentation:
