Console Library Updates
Date: April 22, 2024
We are excited to announce that the Console Library now supports a centralized settings feature, displaying tenant and solution logos, and other UI enhancements. To use these new features, update your React.JS or Vue.JS Console version to v1.1.0.
Stay up to date with the Console library versions
It's important to ensure that all apps within a solution are using the same version of the console library. This is required to maintain a cohesive user experience across all apps within a solution. We also recommend using the latest version of the console library so that end customers can access new features.
Console now provides a centralized settings option that displays system apps, including predefined system apps such as payments, and apps associated with subscribed solutions.
- Tenants can now upload their logo to be displayed next to the user profile.
- Initially, tenants can contact the OS1 support team to upload their logo. There are future plans to enable tenants to update their logo using the marketplace UI.
- If provided, the tenant logo will be displayed. Otherwise, the default state will show no logo.
- Developers can now display their logo within the Console header. The solution logo will replace the OS1 logo and be positioned next to the hamburger menu.
- Developers can provide the logo using the solution service.
- The space will be left blank if developers do not provide a logo.
- A bold "Built on OS1" text has been placed in the left navigation bar below the settings option.
- The help/support feature has been integrated into the header with a simplified "?" icon.
