What’s new in Console UI V2

More Robust Integration

V2 introduces a more robust integration capability. We’ve strengthened our integration by utilizing the console-ui-react-sdk. Improving upon our previous version, this robust SDK enables features like authentication, headers, sidebars, modals, and more. Learn more in our Console Integration Guide.

Improved Customization

Customizations were a key focus for our V2 release. We’ve introduced new header controls, allowing developers to leverage the console header by inserting app functionality such as dropdowns or search bars.

New User Preferences

We’ve enhanced the routing and tab navigation settings, making navigation between various apps more seamless. We’ve also included a Contact Us page, providing a support link for users to easily reach out if they need assistance. We’ve also added timezone customization settings, allowing users to set their preferred time zones.

Updated UX Design

With the introduction of V2, the side navigation feature has undergone significant improvements to provide users with a seamless and intuitive experience when navigating through multiple solutions and apps.

In addition, we also updated the vehicle reference web app to use Console V2 UI SDK. Developers can now use this app as a starting point to build their web apps that are compatible with the Console V2. The reference app is available on our git repo at https://github.com/OS1-logistics/vehicle-reference-app.
