Overview
RTOne provides the ability to predict the likelihood of an order being returned. Given the high Return to Origin (RTO) rates for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, this API offers a distinct advantage in identifying and assessing potentially risky orders, allowing e-commerce organizations to make necessary interventions such as managing their delivery process and minimizing the impact of returned orders.
RTOne uses the PredictAPI to calculate the probability of order return, presenting a score between 0.00 and 1.00.
RTOne is primarily designed to help e-commerce organizations assess the risk of Return to Origin (RTO) associated with orders, especially those paid for by Cash on Delivery (COD). Using the score provided, e-commerce organizations can take the following preemptive measures to avoid RTO:
1. During Order Creation: Disable the COD payment mode while creating the order.
2. Post-Order Creation: Enforce COD to prepay conversion of an order, confirm orders before shipping, and block specific high-risk orders.
