Buttons are Actions

Action text provides a call to action (CTA) and is used on several different types of elements including buttons, tabs, dialogs, and cards.

Action text is typically displayed in all caps and generally uses sans serif font faces.

Primary CTAs should use your app's selected primary color as the background color of the button element, or the link text color. Relatedly, outline styled buttons generally should have the outline and text set to this same primary color.

Consider including icons next to action and button text to provide further context to users as to what action will occur when they interact with these elements.
