Date: 25th September, 2024

We are excited to announce the introduction of the social login feature in our OS1 applications. This enhancement enables users to access OS1 applications seamlessly using their existing Google or Microsoft accounts. We aim to improve the overall user experience for your tenants and customers by simplifying the login process.

Supported Features

  • Users can now sign in to OS1 applications using their Google or Microsoft accounts, streamlining access and reducing the need for multiple passwords or OTPs.
  • Social login options are enabled by default for all tenants, providing a consistent login experience across all OS1 applications, including DispatchOne.
  • Users can continue to log in using traditional email and mobile OTP-based methods alongside social login options.
  • Admins can customize login settings to enable or disable social login options, allowing flexibility to fit business needs.

Use Cases

  • Microsoft Office 365 application users: Use Sign in with Microsoft to quickly access OS1 applications like DispatchOne, ensuring a smooth transition between tools.
  • Google Workspace users: Use Sign in with Google to streamline authentication across various platforms, whether you access Google or non-Google apps.
  • On-Demand workers: Access phone OTP-based login options for on-demand or contract workers while providing social login for full-time employees.
  • Drivers: Benefit from a single-click login experience that avoids switching apps for OTPs, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Large Enterprises: Use Single Sign-On (SSO) to access multiple applications, making social login a valuable option for simplifying authentication.
