DispatchOne Solution

DispatchOne Overview

5min

DispatchOne is a SaaS solution that offers apps and APIs to manage last-mile logistics operations. With DispatchOne's APIs, organizations can integrate DispatchOne with their ERP systems to ingest and manage their orders and dispatches, or they can choose to extend DispatchOne's capabilities by developing and publishing an add-on app in the OS1 Marketplace.

APIs

Logistics Order API

The LogisticsOrder API allows organizations to ingest orders from their ERPs or other order management systems to DispatchOne. The API includes features for creating, retrieving, and canceling orders. Furthermore, the API's predefined attributes make it easy to quickly integrate DispatchOne with any ERP or order management applications.

User API

The User API allows organizations to perform user-related operations. With this API, organizations can create and manage user profiles, including setting up user accounts with relevant details such as contact information, roles, and associated teams.

Facility API

The Facility API enables creation and management of physical locations such as fulfillment centers. Organizations can use the Facility API to ingest their Facility data from ERP or any other facility management application to DispatchOne and use the ingested data while fulfilling their orders and dispatches.

Vehicle API

The Vehicle API enables the creation and management of vehicles. Organizations can use the Vehicle API to ingest their vehicle’s data from their ERP or any other fleet management application to DispatchOne and use the ingested data while fulfilling their orders and dispatches.

Use Cases

DispatchOne's APIs enable businesses and developers to streamline and optimize last mile delivery operations. By integrating DispatchOne's APIs, companies can either seamlessly manage orders, vehicles, and dispatches, or choose to extend DispatchOne by developing and publishing their own add-on applications. The following use cases demonstrate how DispatchOne's APIs can be used.

Furniture Store Chain:

A furniture store chain that offers in-home delivery of furniture purchases can integrate  DispatchOne's APIs with its existing or new  system to keep orders and resources data in sync with their ERP systems.

Logistics and supply chain app developers

App developers can leverage DispatchOne's APIs to build add-on apps that extend DispatchOne's capabilities or cater to specific needs within the last-mile delivery landscape. These add-on apps can then be published on the OS1 Marketplace, making them accessible to a broader range of OS1 platform’s SaaS customers.

For example, developers have built the Route Optimizer, an add-on app by extending DispatchOne's Vehicle, User, and Dispatch functionalities. Route Optimizer automatically creates optimal routes for delivery by accessing order and dispatch information through the Vehicle, User, and Dispatch APIs respectively.
